About Mary
Mary and Greg were close friends for many years, but parted ways due to various reasons - mostly growing up and moving on. Mary met Johnnie while on a late-night visit to a local restaurant where he worked, and the rest is history. The two became fast friends, and Mary is considered the older sister that Johnnie never had. She is also the godmother and faire mommy to Geordyn, so she is very much a part of the extended Bloom/Bratton-Kolschowsky family. Mary can be credited to Johnnie's reintroduction to renaissance faires, and with introducing Johnnie to Greg at the Dragonvale Renaissance Faire (i.e. the Faire With No Shade™). She has done faire for many years, starting as a playtron, then with the Guild of Boedacea, a Celtic/Welsh reenactment group for a few years off and on as Boedacea herself. She joined the same local English court group that Johnnie and Greg were members of as well, and then moved on when Ste. Marie's was formed. She is an important member, and offers much to the guilde in terms of irreverent humor and mischief!
